Skate Parque do Monsanto is ready
Skate Park of the Monsanto is already reopened with new ramps and plywoods on riding surfaces. The "main stage " of Nokia LX Skateboarding Cup is ready to receive the best skaters.
To organize this competition,was necessary to remodel the street course. A new piramid and a incline with wallride were constructed; two of the curbs are higger; one of the quarter pipes was increased with 2 more metters. There was also some alterations in the position of some ramps and on the side of them, a new camouflaged painting gives a new look to the Skate Park.Close to the Skate Park, there is a flat area usually used for skate learning. In the competition days, this will be the Practise area.

Urban Freeflow are Nokia special guests
Urban Freeflow, a Parkour group, internationally known, are the special guests of Nokia for the presentation of a new mobile phone model, Nokia 5500 Sport.
Nokia Lisbon Skateboarding Cup is going to host the first international demo of Parkour, a new urban modality that gains power all over the world.
Essentially, the Parkour searchs the execution of efficient movements that take the person who practise (traceur) from a place to another, using only what his body can offer. For many, it’s a new form of art that inspires for the diverse human capacities that can develop. Use the auto knowledge and respect to the proper limits, but always with the focus in the constant personal evolution.
Nokia LX Skateboarding Cup is a street skate competition, open to all skaters.
The top 10 skateboarders in Portugal are qualified for the contest on Saturday. International skaters can also be qualified, according to Nationals, European or WCS Rankings. The list of qualified skateboarders will be permanently renewed.

Qualifying - Jam Session. From 20 to 30 skaters, will be qualified for semi finals

Semi Finals - Qualified skaters on Friday, plus pre qualified skaters . Jam Session. 20 best will be qualified for Finals .

Sunday, September, 17th
10- 14h Practise
14h Competition- Finals
17h Best Trick
18h Price giving
Finals- 2 calls with 10 skaters. 2 runs for each skater. Classification according to best run.
